The KushaKhaye

Dianoigo: The Wetwork

Before the hand,
before the blade,
before the word that cannot be unsaid,
I return to Zero.

Not emptiness.
Not oblivion.
The quiet chamber
where impulse kneels
before intention.

May my breath become longer
than my anger.
May my judgment become clearer
than my fear.
May I strike
only what deserves ending.
May I preserve
what deserves another dawn.

For the Wetwork
is never merely outside.
The first battlefield
is the one beneath the ribs.
The first enemy
is the lie
that I am already awake.

I enter the Work
without hatred.
I leave the Work
without triumph.
Only the task remains.

The Pre-Flight Check

Before ignition,
I inspect.

Body.
Breath.
Mind.
Memory.
Purpose.

Is the capsule sound?
Are today’s wounds
trying to steer?
Is yesterday
still speaking through my hands?

Have I mistaken urgency
for importance?
Have I mistaken exhaustion
for wisdom?

Nothing launches
that has not first been examined.
Nothing survives
what refuses inspection.

I do not fear the checklist.
The checklist
is compassion
made practical.

The Liturgy of the Chief Engineer

Steel remembers.
So does flesh.
Every neglected crack
becomes tomorrow’s catastrophe.
Every unseen kindness
becomes tomorrow’s strength.

Teach me
to repair before replacing.
To reinforce
before rebuilding.
To oil
what still serves.
To retire
what has earned its rest.

May I become
less fascinated by miracles
and more devoted
to maintenance.

For civilization
is not built
by heroic moments,
but by ordinary people
tightening ordinary bolts
every ordinary day.

The Forking Path

Every road divides.
One path asks for speed.
One asks for certainty.
One asks for applause.
Only one
asks for truth.

Grant me the courage
to hesitate.
Grant me the discipline
to observe.
Grant me the patience
to hear the smaller voice.

The loudest road
is seldom the oldest.
The brightest fire
is seldom the warmest.
The easy answer
collects followers.
The difficult answer
collects builders.

When the paths divide,
may I choose
not comfort,
not glory,
but alignment.

The Closed Loop

No system runs flawlessly
in perpetuity.
No architecture stands
without settling.

When the output fractures,
when the logic breaks,
I do not force the machine.
I trace the error.
I read the syntax of the failure.

Let me not view a disruption
as a defeat.
A disruption
is merely data.
An error
is simply a request for an update.

True equilibrium
is not the absence of friction.
It is the grace
of the return to balance.

I locate the breach.
I refine the parameters.
I close the loop.
And I begin again.

The Liturgy of the Shipwright

No ark appears
fully formed.
It begins
with measurements.
With arguments.
With crooked beams.
With hands
that grow wiser
one blister at a time.

Every worthy vessel
looks unfinished
for longer
than comfort allows.

Let me not despise
slow construction.
Let me not worship
instant perfection.

Each plank laid honestly
is already victory.
Each seam sealed faithfully
is already hope.

The sea
does not ask
whether I built quickly.
Only whether I built well.

The Closing Benediction

Return to Zero.
Not because the world
has become gentle.
But because you can.

Leave behind
the heat
that no longer serves.
Carry forward
only what can build.

The Work continues.
The Vessel endures.
The Sea waits.

Go,
not as one
who seeks victory,
but as one
who is becoming
worthy
of the voyage.
